Plasmid DNA is starting material for cell and gene, RNA and DNA therapies, all manufacturers use e.coli based technology from the 70’s with no innovation in this area for decades. Novel has developed a disruptive manufacturing technology for plasmid DNA which is 10X more productive and manufacturers higher quality DNA than the competition. Novel intends to become a gold standard supplier of pDNA by leveraging the cost and quality advantages of NBx.
