The Ontario Brain Institute (OBI) is a not-for-profit organization that accelerates discovery and innovation, benefiting both patients and the economy. Its Vision is to be a world leader in brain research, commercialization and care, fostering collaboration, and translating scientific discoveries into tangible improvements in patient care and quality of life. OBI’s mandate is realized through its collaborative ‘team science’ approach between researchers, clinicians, industry, patients, and their advocates to foster discovery and deliver innovative products and services that improve the lives of those living with brain disorders. To this end, the OBI manages its clinical research network of over 250 neuroscientists, collects data from over 25K patients and has supported over 110 neurotechs across Canada.
