GRTHealth provides remote monitoring of the elderly, living with frailties, in the community, through a scalable and hardware agnostic software platform (GRTInsight™) that integrates multiple types of non-medical and medical monitoring devices. Together, the system, and its integrated monitoring devices, have been designed to maximize the abilities of ‘at-risk’ seniors to live in the community for as long as desired, and to minimize barriers preventing discharges from acute care hospitals. The integrated system has also been designed to lengthen community stays for seniors who may be traditionally admitted to a long-term care facility, as well as to minimize unnecessary visits to emergency departments.
GRTHealth products and services focus on the centralized collection, interpretation and reporting of health, social and clinical information through its GRTInsight™ platform that utilizes a combination of artificial intelligence and manually set thresholds, to interpret reported results and warn of both immediate adverse events, as well as potentially catastrophic trajectories, on a proactive basis.
The types of monitoring devices currently in-use span: medication administration and adherence, personal alert and location enabled devices, passive in-home activity devices, health and clinical attributes, and many others, to address a range of ‘activities of daily living’, health and clinical parameters.
