FYELABS is a Canadian product development firm purpose-built for startups, with some key differences from standard offerings in the market. FYELABS operates on fixed-price contracts with guaranteed deliverables, so its customers know going in how much a project will cost and how long it will take. It employs a very technically diverse team, spanning software, AI/ML, electronics, embedded systems, robotics, industrial design, and computational modeling. This means the founders don’t have to juggle multiple vendors. FYELABS is about two and a half years old and based out of Hamilton, ON, Canada, and Culver City, CA, USA, with 44 people on staff. It has shipped more than 140 projects to over 100 customers.
