Dermal Therapy researchers at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden have created and patented worldwide an implantable glucose device reporting to a smartphone that will remain in place for many years. Animal studies have been successful and human trials are now underway. It is seeking partners worldwide to take the device through regulatory-mandated testing and applications for most significant countries and in order for them to market the device.
Dermal Therapy researchers have created and patented in a medical device consisting of wound hygiene powders that debride, clean, and heal ulcers. A US FDA 510K application has been prepared which can be used as a template for the EU, Canada, and other countries.
