Professor Carolyn McGregor AM is Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Studies, Faculty of Business and IT, Ontario Tech University and a two-time Canada Research Chair. Her pioneering research in Big Data analytics, AI, edge computing and data mesh infrastructures creates commercial ready platforms for critical care, astronaut health, firefighter training and tactical officer resilience assessment and development. Many organizations from startups to multinational corporations collaborate with Professor McGregor or request her strategic advice. She is the principal investigator for the Space Health study currently running on the ISS supported by the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and was a principal investigator on the Axiom 1st all private astronaut mission (Ax-1). She is a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her significant service to science and innovation through healthcare information systems.
