The ALTA platform™ is an intelligent robotic system that automates transfers of supine individuals who need to be moved laterally (e.g. bed-to-stretcher, imaging table, etc.) in health care facilities. Transfer methods today require multiple staff to exert back-breaking effort. In light of increasing health care staff scarcity and burnout, hospitals benefit from automating to do more with less. ALTA generates value by reducing injury-related costs, increasing facility throughput, improving quality of care and increasing employee wellbeing.
