Mircobix is a manufacturer of infectious disease, biological materials for assay development, production and use at clinical labs. Primarily focusing on viral pathogens but also including bacterial, fungal and parasites, it cultures, purifies and inactivates these biomaterials for further manufacturing use, or for its own raw materials used for quality assessment products (QAPs). Its QAPs are used by assay manufacturers, as proficiency test samples by accreditation agencies, and as external QC materials for clinical labs. Microbix’s products are used in jurisdictions following FDA, CE, TGA and Health Canada regulatory environments.
