World’s 1st Cleantech Copper Extraction without Energy
Destiny Copper has spent the last nine years developing a cleantech copper extraction process that uses almost zero energy to produce high purity copper and copper powder (+99.9% Cu). This patented, hydrometallurgical process produces copper from pregnant liquor solutions (PLS), industrial wastes streams and even tailings ponds! The remaining solution is cleaned back to grey water for reuse in the plant which is important as copper deposits are often located in dry climates such as Australia, Arizona and Chile. Destiny’s cleantech is dramatically greener when compared to the incumbent tech SXEW: Destiny better on GHG emissions, energy usage and water re-usage.
Objectives at IMARC 2024:
The Australian market has been on Destiny Copper’s radar for several years. DC now wants to “land and expand” the roll out of their cleantech across the Oz copper mining sector. DC’s mine partners and investor base are currently predominantly focused on North America. The goal is to change this.
