Spiderwort is a platform biomaterials company developing a suite of cellulose-based scaffolds for use in a number of regenerative medicine applications. CelluJuveTM is being developed as an extended duration dermal filler for aesthetic soft tissue augmentation. CelluBridgeTM, their solution for spinal cord injury repair, has been granted a breakthrough designation by the FDA after promising preclinical results where it supported regenerating axons leading to locomotor recovery. They are extending the CelluBridgeTM technology to peripheral nerve injury applications and are interested in codeveloping further uses of the biomaterial platform.
