VAC AERO also specializes in vacuum heat treating and brazing of advanced materials, and most customer and quality system approvals are from prime manufacturers in the aerospace and defence industries. VAC AERO also offers a variety of coating processes in its Boucherville, Quebec, Canada plant. Services to the aerospace and high-tech industries include plasma, high-velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF), and high-velocity air fuel (HVAF) spray coatings, as well as pack and CODEP coatings. The company also offers thermal barrier, hard coats and abradable seal coatings for gas turbine engine and airframe components.
