"Defrost and defog solution for electric vehicles"
Betterfrost Technologies provides a low-energy defrost and defog solution for electric vehicles that uses 20X less energy than current methods to extend EV range in cold weather. Its patented solution pulses power to control heat so that it only reaches the boundary layer of ice. As a result, no heat is wasted into the environment. The system uses existing power electronics in the vehicle, with the only addition of its microcontroller and one wire harness. Demonstration EV is available.
