BacTech Environmental Corp uses its proprietary BACOX bioleaching technology to process toxic, arsenic-laden concentrates and mine tailings. Bioleaching, in addition to stabilizing arsenic, oxidizes sulphides, thereby eliminating a major source of acid mine drainage and recovering precious and base metals from tailings for sale to market. The company's flagship project is in Tenguel, Ecuador.
