Able Innovations is solving the repetitive and labour-intensive task of patient transfers by developing robotic medical devices that allow a single health care worker to perform lateral supine patient transfers in an effortless, safe and dignified manner. The company’s first automated solution, the ALTA Platform, enables staff to do more with less while protecting them from chronic and career-ending injuries. Health care systems improve their throughput by adopting ALTA as the system eliminates inefficiencies of assembling groups of (scarce) staff to conduct manual transfers.
